Au Revoir Simone: A Band

I recently read a good interview with Au Revoir Simone. In my opinion most interviews tell me nothing and bore me, but this one was different. I didn't even realise The Bird of Music was their second album, their first was released in 2005 and is titled Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation.
When asked about their top five style essentials the girls answered:

Heather: "Riding boots, a wide-brimmed hat, a cape, fancypants, a sword."
Erica: "High-waisted knee length skirts, feathered bangs, moccasins, bright lipstick, ear-plugs."
Annie: "A bicycle, clean fingernails, a keyboard, fancypants, a library book."

I have always read that Heather is a bit of a science geek, but figured she looked far too whimsical and pretty for that sort of thing, but it is true.

This is the clip from Pee Wee's Big Adventure, where the girls got the name "Au Revoir Simone" from.

Lastly, this is the video for Fallen Snow. This is the video that got me into Au Revoir Simone.
